ACI Global Safety Network (GSN) Diploma
GCAS is proud to support the Airports Council International (ACI) Global Safety Network (GSN) Diploma Training Programme. The programme consists of specialised courses on airport safety and is specifically designed to meet the needs of airside operations and safety managers including developing, implementing and operating effective Safety Management Systems (SMS) at their airports. The programme has two levels – Initial & Advanced, each consisting of 3 modules.
Each module may be taken as a standalone course or combined with the other two modules in order to achieve the ACI GSN Diploma.
Each of the programme levels consists of three five-day courses:
Initial Level
1. Safety Management Systems (SMS)
2. Airside Safety and Operations
3. Emergency Planning and Crisis Management
Advanced Level
4. Working with Annex 14
5. Advanced Safety Management Systems
6. Aerodrome Auditing and Compliance
The courses are delivered in English by senior airport managers with extensive “real time” experience of operational procedures, SMS and airport certification. All classroom sessions make extensive use of pictures and films, to provide a compelling and relevant learning experience.
